BREAKFAST
Breakfast means "Breaking the fast". Because whole night we are on the fast due to sleep. Breakfast is a first meal of the day, typically eaten in morning after 7-9 hours fast. It is very important meal of the day. It should be high calories meal.

1. Continental breakfast :-
The traditional continental breakfast consists simply of hot croissant, brioche or toast, butter and preserve and coffee as the beverage. The current trend in the continental breakfast menu is towards offering a wider variety of choices.

INDIAN BREAKFAST :-
An Indian breakfast varies from region and is mostly vegetarian.
In East India, the most popular breakfast are idly, Bara, puri and Upma. These are served with Ghunguni or potato curry and also sweet like Rasogulla, chenapoda etc.
In South India, the most popular breakfast such as idlis, vadas, dosas and chapatis. These are most often served with hot sambar and one two kinds of chutney items in Tamil Nadu.
The usual North Indian breakfast Consists of unstuffed Parathas with fresh butter or stuffed paratha breads cooked spicy vegetables especially aloo sabzi. Popular accompaniments include sweet like jalebi, halwa, and sweetened, milk.
In Maharashtra, poha, Upma or Shira is frequently eaten for breakfast.
In urban areas, omelette and simple butter sandwiches are becoming a popular breakfast food.
