Bangkok Steamed Fragrant Rice  


 


Ingredients A

  • 500g fragrant rice
  • 100g glutinous rice
  • 5 pieces pandan leaves
  • 2 slices galangal
  • 2 Thai lime leaves

Ingredients B

  • 600ml coconut milk (1 coconut)
  • 1 tablespoon blue flower juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemongrass juice
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoon sugar


Method for Cooking Bangkok Steamed Fragrant Rice:

  1. Put Ingredients A into steamer, sprinkle with some Ingredients B.
  2. Cover to cook until strong steam appears. (Repeat until rice is cooked)
  3. Remove steamed rice and serve with any type of Thai Curry.

Tip:

Steamed rice is tastier than cooked rice and it is not sticky.
